In this book published by Corraini Editori, Bruno Munari examines the various ways of expressing oneself without speaking, not only with the hands, but also with facial expressions and the entire body. Many of these ancient gestures have become commonplace, and some are even understood in many parts of the world. The author has attempted to collect as many of them as possible, leaving out obscene and vulgar gestures, to ensure the most accurate documentation possible, for the use of foreigners visiting Italy or as a supplement to the Italian dictionary.
