CABANA MAGAZINE
Vivid colors, a designer fabric cover, and a large format: Cabana is the interior design magazine designed to be the most "snobbish" of editorial products.
The magazine explores the close relationship each person has with interior design, from grand rooms to the small details that make a room unique yet personal. Each issue takes you on a journey of obsessive collecting, colors, fabrics, and art objects brought to life through vivid photographs and images.
With covers born from a collaboration with the Roman high-jewelry house Bvlgari and created from four fabrics from a historic Venetian manufacturer, issue 25 introduces a subtle shift in tone, almost a different breath, while remaining faithful to a vision of interiors as places full of presence, memory, and character.
The pages reveal homes and spaces designed by some of the most recognizable voices in contemporary design and decoration: Stephen Sills's layered retreat in Bedford, Tino Zervudachi's quiet apartment in Hong Kong, Charles Van Canneyt's interiors in Ghent, Emiliano Salci's Milanese theater address, and the landscape cultivated by Land Gardeners in the Loire Valley.
Moving between interiors, architecture, landscape, and craftsmanship, this issue traverses Tunisia, Hong Kong, Belgium, France, and Greece, exploring not only the spaces but also the sensibilities and gestures that make them possible. Alongside the homes, figures and practices emerge that contribute to shaping the cultural imagination today: costume designer Sandy Powell reflects on imagination and craft, Alain de Botton engages with Martina Mondadori on love and contemporary relationships, while a final atlas gathers together the knowledge and presences of the artisan world.
