Mezzeri, a time-honored Italian tradition, are hand-sewn and hand-printed on cotton canvas. Extremely versatile, they instantly transform the mood of any room, perfect as a tablecloth for a dinner for up to eight people, on a lawn for a picnic, or used to festively cover a small sofa. This mezzero is produced in India using traditional block-printing techniques, a time-consuming artisanal process that makes each piece unique, exuding even its small imperfections.
In this print, handcrafted in India using the bubble technique, two classic Lisa Corti motifs alternate in large stripes in shades of gold and red: the Dahlia, suggested by the fabric of an antique cretonne armchair, and the Leopard, inspired by an archaic Persian miniature.
